Kathmandu. Reema Bishwakarma, a lawmaker from the ruling Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has urged the government to prioritise allocation of budget for the upliftment of the Dalit community.
She made this demand while speaking in the House of Representatives on Tuesday. Lawmaker Bishwakarma said that the government should pay special attention to provide justice to the Dalit community.
She also objected that the government was not serious about the increasing number of custodial suicides.
Lawmaker Bishwakarma also pointed out the need for the government to emphasize on promoting the welfare of Dalit community.
