Kathmandu. The opposition parties also obstructed the second meeting of the House of Representatives on Thursday. Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal proceeded with the proceedings of the meeting. They are shouting slogans.
Earlier, the opposition parties had obstructed the House of Representatives, demanding that Prime Minister Balendra Shah (Balen) answer in the Parliament. Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal postponed the meeting for 15 minutes. With the resumption of the parliament, Speaker Aryal has initiated the proceedings of the parliament amidst the slogans of the opposition.
The main opposition Nepali Congress (NC) is protesting from its seat. The opposition is demanding a question-answer session with the prime minister. The opposition parties in the well have been protesting by raising slogans such as ‘Death to autocracy’, ‘We don’t need a prime minister above the constitution’.
