Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress lawmakers have warned that the parliament will not function until the Prime Minister apologizes to the Prime Minister. Speaking at the meeting of the House of Representatives on Tuesday, lawmaker Abhishek Pratap Shah expressed serious displeasure over the remarks made by the Prime Minister and demanded an immediate public apology.

According to him, the NC has strongly objected to the statement made by the Prime Minister that Nepal has also encroached on the Indian side. He said that the government should give clarity on such sensitive issue in a responsible manner.

“The Prime Minister has said in the parliament that Nepal has also encroached on India’s land. We strongly object to this. He should apologise publicly, we will not allow Parliament to function until he apologizes. ’

Similarly, Chairman of the Labour and Culture Party, Harka Sampang Rai, questioned the Prime Minister’s remarks on border and demanded that the proof of the claim be made public or an apology.

He said that the Prime Minister should prove with clear evidence that Nepal has encroached on India’s land. He said that the government should be responsible on such a sensitive issue and should apologize publicly if he makes an impulsive statement.

“Where did Nepal encroach on Indian land? The government has no excuse to make mistakes. That’s why it’s the government. If he has said this in an impulse, then he should apologize in front of three crore people. ’
