Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Opposition party Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chairman Rajendra Lingden has suggested the government and the ruling Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) to adopt sensitivity on foreign affairs.

Talking to media persons after the all-party meeting called by Rastriya Swatantra Party President Rabi Lamichhane on Monday immediately after his India visit, he said that he gave this suggestion.

Stating that Prime Minister Balendra Shah’s statement in the parliament and President Lamichhane’s statement during his India visit that he would not bear the burden of the past is immature and weakens the evidence that Lipulekh, Limpiyardhura and Kalapani are Nepal’s Nepal, which Nepal has unanimously endorsed by the parliament, Lingden said, urging the government to be careful about such things.

He also argued that the government should be sensitive on the issue of foreign affairs as the entire country has to bear the burden of the government’s wrong activities.

Chairman Lingden also said that the government should use the people’s vote as an opportunity.
