Kathmandu. Government Spokesperson Sasmit Pokharel said that the meeting of the Council of Ministers held on June 12, 2083 took several important decisions. Unveiling the decisions of the Council of Ministers, he said the meeting decided to extend the term of the task force to prepare the constitution amendment discussion paper-2082 formed under the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers till Ashad end, 2083.
The meeting also decided to give necessary directives to the Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation, the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration and other bodies for the implementation of the report of the High Level Commission on the Protection and Investigation of Public Land (Rawal Commission-2052).
Likewise, Ramesh Kumar Dhital of Sindhupalchowk has been nominated to the post of chairman of the Board of Accounts (ANBON) on the proposal of the Ministry of Finance.
He said the government has been taking necessary decisions on issues related to public administration, good governance and policy reforms and stressed on their effective implementation.
