Govinda Bahadur Karki appointed new chief secretary

Kathmandu. The government has appointed Govinda Bahadur Karki as the new chief secretary. The meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Wednesday decided to appoint Karki to the post of Chief Secretary, according to Spokesperson Sasmit Pokharel.

“The Cabinet decided to appoint Secretary at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Govinda Bahadur Karki, to the post of Chief Secretary. ’

According to him, it was also decided to approve the Academic Counseling Language Teaching and Preparation Class Operation and Management Regulations-2083.

Decisions of the meeting:

1. To appoint Suraj Shakya as the Development Commissioner of Kathmandu Valley Development Authority.

2. Grant approval to operate Geta Hospital, Kailali as the teaching hospital of Shahid Dasharath Chand University of Health Sciences.

3. Approve the Foreign Educational Programs (Operation and Regulation) Regulations, 2083.

4. Approval of the Academic Counseling, Language Teaching and Preparation Classes (Operation and Management) Regulations, 2083

5. To approve the Prison Regulations, 2083.

6. To approve the Sixth National Plan of Action on Human Rights (2083/084-2087/88).

7. Second National Strategic Plan Against Corruption (2082). 83–2087. 88) To accept.

8. Appoint Govinda Bahadur Karki, Secretary at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, to the post of Chief Secretary.
