Three parliamentary committees will meet on Friday
. A meeting of three parliamentary committees under the House of Representatives is taking place on Friday. Issues related to tourism bill, management of electricity distribution line and human rights situation of inmates and detainees in prison and detention are also discussed in the meeting.
The meeting of the International Relations and Tourism Committee will be held at 10:30 am at the meeting room in Singha Durbar.
Discussions will be held with experts on the ‘Tourism Bill, 2081’ in the meeting. Secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation and tourism experts Prachanda Man Shrestha, Deepak Raj Joshi, Bal Sagar Giri and Dhanendra Shrestha have been invited for the meeting.
Similarly, the meeting of the Infrastructure Development Committee will be held at 10 am.
The meeting is scheduled to discuss the delay in road construction due to lack of management of electricity distribution lines and electric poles and ways of resolving the problems. Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, secretaries at the Ministry, and representatives of the Department of Roads and Nepal Electricity Authority have been invited to the meeting.
Likewise, a meeting of the Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee will be held at 10:00 am at Singha Durbar.
The meeting will present the report of the Sub-Committee on Human Rights Study of Detainees and Detainees, 2083 BS. Likewise, the agenda of formation of a new sub-committee and other contemporary issues will also be discussed.
