. Nepali Congress leader Dr Shekhar Koirala has said that he is morally unable to accept the amount provided by the government for the reconstruction and renovation of Koirala’s residence in Biratnagar, which was destroyed in the 2082 agitation.
Koirala has also sent a letter to the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation regarding the withdrawal of budget, according to Koirala’s personal secretary Dinesh Thapaliya.
The Ministry has allocated the fiscal year 2083 for the renovation and demolition of Koirala residence in Biratnagar. A budget of Rs 20 million was allocated for the fiscal year 2018.
