Man arrested for cheating on the pretext of recruiting in Nepal Army
Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: A man has been arrested for cheating people on the pretext of recruiting him in the Nepal Army.
Police have arrested 35-year-old Harish Chand of Belauri Municipality-8 in Kanchanpur on the charge of cheating money on the pretext of enlisting in the Nepal Army.
A police team deputed from Area Police Office, Chisapani, arrested Harish on the basis of a complaint that he had been cheating the victim by extorting Rs 2.40 lakh from her on the pretext of recruiting him in the Nepal Army.
Police have taken permission from the District Court, Kailali and necessary investigation is underway in this regard.
