Bhanu Sharma, co-founder of Life Sciences and a life development expert, said that Nepal can not only provide the mountains and natural beauty but also its unique spiritual knowledge and philosophy of life to the world.

Addressing an interaction organized at the Embassy of Nepal in London, Guru Sharma said that the per capita income of Nepalis can increase up to five times through health tourism. Addressing the program, Guru LP Bhanu Sharma said that the United Nations has started celebrating April 15 as World Health Day every year on the proposal of Nepal and other countries. He expressed the view that yoga, meditation, spirituality, mindfulness, natural health system and conscious lifestyle based on the Himalayan tradition of Nepal could be developed as the basis of global health. Such heritages can establish Nepal as a destination for world-class wellness, internal transformation and overall prosperity, he said.

“The world community should be invited not only to see Nepal but also to feel Nepal,” he said. “We all need to collaborate to make Nepal’s nature, knowledge, healing tradition and lifestyle of Nepal to the world. “

He put forward the concept of ‘Himalayan Wisdom, Global Wellbeing’ and said that Nepal’s health tradition is not only our cultural heritage but also an invaluable gift that can be given to the world.

During the program, participants were also given a ‘Self-Awakening Meditation’ exercise.

After a brief period of meditation, many participants reported experiencing peace of mind, present-moment awareness, and positive energy. According to the organizers, meditation is not just a theoretical subject, but an exercise that can be experienced directly.

Nepal’s Charge d’ Affaires to the UK Bipin Duwadi thanked Guru Sharma and said that the Nepal government has given priority to the promotion of health tourism. He expressed the belief that such events would significantly contribute to the promotion of Nepal’s spiritual, cultural and natural heritage in the international arena. The program featured interactive discussions among the participants on the relationship between self-awareness, mental and physical health, inner transformation and prosperity.

The program has opened up a new potential of wellness tourism by connecting Nepal’s yoga, meditation, spirituality and natural health traditions to the world.
