. Seven political parties including Madhes-based parties have jointly announced a ‘Progressive Front’.
The seven political parties, including the Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) Nepal, have announced their alliance at a banquet in Thapagaun, Kathmandu.
JSP Nepal, Janamat Party, Aam Janata Party, Pragatisheel Loktantrik Party, Nagarik Unmukti Party Nepal, Nepal Sanghiya Samajbadi Party and Bahujan Ekata Party Nepal are participating in the front.
Deputy General Secretary of the then CPN (Maoist Centre) Janardan Sharma and Santosh Pariyar, who quit the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), have also joined the Front.
