‘The Balen government is endangering the country by provoking its neighbors’

Kathmandu. The Ram Rajya Parishad has accused the present government of breaking the ‘One China Policy’. Organizing a press conference at Sambad Dabali in the capital on Sunday, the party without philosophy of Durga Prasain and Dhawal Shumsher Rana has not been able to achieve its goal.
KATHMANDU: Religious Head of the Ramrajaya Parishad, Jagat Bahadur Thapa, has urged the government to remain committed to the ‘One China’ policy for safeguarding Nepal’s independence and sovereignty.
According to Thapa, the Balen government has raised big questions about the activities of Tibetans such as citizenship, the Dalai Lama’s birth celebrations, the Free Tibet Conference and other activities.
When asked about the possibility of unification in the ‘Jaya Nepal Party’ proposed by Durga Prasai and Dhawal Shumsher Rana, Thapa said, “It is certain that a party without their philosophy will become a crow in the fog.
“Monarchy and Hindu state are just political tools to garner votes,” Thapa alleged.
When asked why those who are carrying the same issue of Hindu state with monarchy are divided, Thapa said, “Everyone else has misled the people in this parliamentary system and made the agenda only a ladder to come to power.”

‘Ram Rajya’ with ‘Hindu Rashtra’ and ‘Hindu Emperor’ is improbable only under the leadership of their Ram Rajya Parishad, guided by Vedic and scientific communitarian philosophy, Thapa argues.
Thapa accused the Balen government of making the daily lives of the people difficult by imposing taxes on basic needs of the people including health, education, electricity.
Thapa demanded that the government limit the tax to 10 per cent, saying it was not appropriate to levy tax up to 44 per cent on the people through various tax headings but not providing services and facilities. He also accused the Balen government of working on the plan of America to cross the 7 seas by provoking the neighbors.
“The Prime Minister makes anti-national statements in the parliament, openly promotes the Free Tibet Movement, and the character of the government that brought in Rohingyas and Bengalis to create conflict in Tarai has been exposed,” Thapa added.
Secretary of the Council Bishnu Dangol demanded scrapping the national identity card brought under foreign scheme for the protection of Nepal’s independence, investigation into the Nepali citizenship granted to foreigners, stopping the distribution of citizenship to foreigners and erecting barbed wire along the open border. Claiming that the country could not be saved from the present system, Treasurer Ramesh Kumar Basnet said that the government has announced ‘Ram Rajya system’ as an alternative to it.
He claimed that there would be a prosperous Nepal with tax-free, beggar-free and self-reliant economy under Ram Rajya.
On the occasion, central member Sankar Magaiah expressed the view that the government should boycott Indian products to end the interference in peace zone Nepal, Greater Nepal and Indian occupation by creating mass employment in the country. Sitaram Maharjan, a central committee member, said that the Nepal Army should be strengthened to protect the country.
“The number of Nepal Army should be increased to 500,000, 2 million paramilitary forces and three months of military training should be arranged at home so that we can defend if needed,” Maharjan said. On the occasion, central member Madan Khadka said that foreign interference in the country’s natural resources has increased. Kathmandu District Chairman Keshav Prasad Pandey said that the country should fight for national liberation to protect national independence.
