Four arrested with drugs
Four people have been arrested in possession of drugs.
Police have arrested two persons in possession of 2 grams and 550 milligrams of brown sugar from Khatabasti of Jhapa Rural Municipality-5 on Monday morning.
The arrestees have been identified as Bhupendra Singh Rajbanshi, 26, of the same rural municipality-2 and Dhiraj Gurung, 31, of Birtamod municipality-4.
A police team deputed from Taghandubba Police Post arrested them with the goods they were riding on a motorbike (Ko 12 Pa 373) en route to Nepal from India.
Police have arrested Dinesh Baduwal, 19, of Bardagoriya Rural Municipality-1 in Kailali district with 5 grams and 350 milligrams of brown sugar.
A police team deputed from the Area Police Office, Sadakpur arrested him with the substance.
Police have arrested Sunil Kumar Mandal, 30, of Rangeli Municipality-7 with 620 milligrams of brown sugar from Bakraha bridge in Rangeli Municipality-7 on Monday morning.
A police team deputed from the Area Police Office, Rangeli, arrested him while checking a City Safari (State 1.02.004 Ha 6770) en route to Karsiya from Rangeli. Police said further investigation is underway in this connection.
