MP Swar’s sarcasm: Prime Minister Kumbhakarna is sleeping, cannot be found
Kathmandu. Nepali Congress (NC) lawmaker Bharat Kumar Swar has expressed his displeasure over the Prime Minister’s performance and questioned the government’s performance.
Speaking in the House of Representatives on Tuesday, Swar said that the Prime Minister should be present in the House and answer the questions of the lawmakers.
He said that the Prime Minister’s statement that India has encroached Nepal’s land should be clarified in the parliament.
He accused the government of remaining silent on the issue of encroachment by India on Nepali territory including Limpiyadhura, Kalapani and Susta.
He also questioned the government’s neglect of the map.
Demanding that the property of all should be investigated for the investigation of corruption, he said whoever is guilty should be brought to justice. He also demanded the government to make public the reports of the probe committees formed at different times.
He also accused the government of failing to provide basic services to the people.
According to him, people are facing problems in terms of passport, driving license, land revenue, gas, inflation and health insurance.
He said that although he had submitted a written application on April 21 to meet the Prime Minister, he has not got the opportunity to meet him yet.
He said, “When I asked for an appointment to meet, I had handed over the written application to his relatives on April 21. But I haven’t had a chance to meet him till date. Which Kumbhakarna are you sleeping in, Mr. Prime Minister? This is an insult to the people of all the far-flung areas and the people of Achham. “
Swar complained that he tried to meet the Prime Minister to put forth the problems related to the development of the people of the Far-West but was not given time.
He said, “I tried to put forward the problems of development for the people of all the remote areas, but I did not give time.” These far-flung people don’t need the fake love of you. Take that love back. “
said there was a huge gap between the government’s work and commitments. Stating that he had the experience of working in the social and public sectors for long, he commented that the government’s work was like a mouse dug out a mountain.
