5 decisions of the Council of Ministers: Ncell declares four people martyrs after Ncell’s investigation report is made public
Kathmandu. The meeting of the Council of Ministers held today took five important decisions.
The government has decided to fully waive the clean infrastructure investment fee and value added tax (VAT) on ambulances and hearses imported or produced in Nepal. Likewise, Om Prakash Mehta, Jaya Prakash Mehta, Rabindra Kumar Mehta of Sunsari and Ganesh Kumar Yadav of Siraha who died during the demonstrations in Sunsari and Siraha were declared martyrs. The cabinet also decided to give consent to the Portugal government to open a consular office in Kathmandu. Similarly, Nirmal Kumar Upreti of Bara has been appointed as the Executive Director of the Foreign Employment Board. The meeting also decided to make public the study and investigation report on the sale and purchase of shares of Ncell, 2080 BS formed under the convenorship of former Auditor General Tanka Mani Sharma Dangal.
