Seven arrested with drugs
Kathmandu. Seven people have been arrested in possession of drugs.
Police have arrested three persons in possession of 12.70 kilogrammes of cannabis from Lalbandi Municipality-12 in Sarlahi district this morning.
The arrestees have been identified as Sanu Pariyar, 50, his wife Sabina Pariya, 35, and Gyanu Maya Yonjan, 40, of Lalbandi Municipality-14.
A police team deputed from Area Police Office, Lalbandi and Police Post Patharkot arrested them with the banned drugs.
Police have arrested Narendra Bhujel, 35, of Pokhara Metropolitan City-17 in Kaski district on Tuesday afternoon with 33 ampoules of phenergan, 33 ampoules of Norphine and 33 ampoules of diazepam.
A team of police deployed from the District Police Office, Kaski and Ward Police Office, Baidam seized the drugs during a search of the house.
Police have arrested three persons in possession of 3 grams of brown heroin from Bhairab Tole of Godavari Municipality-5 in Kailali district on Tuesday afternoon.
The arrested have been identified as Shankar BK (45), Gopal Chaudhary (28) and Bijay Chaudhary (32). A police team deployed from Geta Police Post searched Shankar’s house and arrested the three persons.
Police said further investigation is underway in this connection.
