Kathmandu. Nepal Bhushan Shrestha, who has been working as acting general manager of Prime Commercial Bank’s Kamalpokhari office, has given statement in connection with the loan and property auction case related to Smart Telecom. He is currently serving as the head of the bank’s credit department.
Police have also recorded statements from Shrestha in connection with the case. According to sources, various officials and employees related to the bank are being questioned during the investigation.
Meanwhile, cases have been filed against the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Chairman and Director of Nepal Investment Mega Bank on charges of fraud, organized crime and banking fraud at the Kathmandu District Court.
In the charge sheet filed by the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) after a long investigation, it has been alleged that the property of Smart Cell, which has already been owned by the government, was auctioned to benefit Ncell.
