Today’s prices of vegetables and fruits

Kathmandu. The Kalimati Fruits and Vegetables Market Development Committee has released the minimum wholesale price of agricultural products for Friday.

According to the committee, the price of big Nepali tomato is Rs 60 per kg, Indian big tomato is Rs 70 per kg and small tunnel tomato is Rs 40 per kg. The price of red potato (long) has been fixed at Rs 48, red potato (round) at Rs 48 per kg, Indian red potato at Rs 35 and white potato at Rs 33 per kg.

Indian onion is being sold for Rs 60, local carrot for Rs 100 and Tarai for Rs 70.

Similarly, the price of cabbage (local) is Rs 30, local cauliflower Rs 90, red radish Rs 20, white radish (hybrid) Rs 20, lamcho brinjal Rs 40, Dalo brinjal Rs 50, stem beans Rs 90, maize beans Rs 90 and ghee beans (local and hybrid) Rs 70 per kg. Similarly, beans are being sold at Rs 70, soybean at Rs 90, bitter gourd at Rs 40, gourd at Rs 50, pointed gourd at Rs 50, ghiraula at Rs 20, ripe beans at Rs 50, green beans at Rs 40, okra at Rs 40, sweet potatoes at Rs 100, pindalu at Rs 90 and squash at Rs 50. Mustard greens have been fixed at Rs 80, spinach at Rs 200, mustard greens at Rs 80 and green onion at Rs 150.

The price of canine mushroom is Rs 240, Dalle mushroom Rs 400, king mushroom Rs 300, Sitake mushroom Rs 800, Kurilo Rs 400, Nuro Rs 90, Broccoli Rs 140, beetroot Rs 60, Celery Rs 200, mint Rs 400 and gante radish Rs 100.

Similarly, the committee has fixed apple (fuji) at Rs 280 per kg, banana (Nepali) at Rs 250 per dozen, banana (malbhog) at Rs 180 per dozen, lemon at Rs 200 per kg, pomegranate at Rs 300, mango (Maldaha) at Rs 250, mango (chosa) at Rs 230 and watermelon (green) at Rs 50.
