Child Rights Council appeals not to post photos and videos of flood-affected children on social media
Kathmandu. The National Council for Child Rights has appealed to the people not to post photos and videos of children affected and affected by the devastating floods in Bhotekoshi on social media and media.
Issuing a notice on Tuesday, the Council has urged the public not to make public the photos and videos taken while providing rescue, relief, assistance and other services to the children affected by the floods on August 24. According to the Council, the Council has urged individuals and organizations not to post or cause to be posted on any social media as the privacy, dignity and child rights of the victims and affected children should be respected. The council has urged people not to make public on Facebook, Messenger, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Meta, LinkedIn, Threads, Snapchat, Viber, WhatsApp and Twitter.
