Kathmandu. Kelmi Nepal, a brand of sports apparel and accessories that has been fulfilling its social responsibility during the time of disaster, has announced relief and support for the flood affected people in Rasuwa.
According to Uttam Neupane, Managing Director of Kelmi Nepal, the organization has already deposited Rs 15,05,555 (15,
05,555) in the Prime Minister Natural Disaster Relief and Relief Fund.
Neupane said that the amount has been deposited in the fund to support the relief work being sensitive towards the damage caused by floods, landslides and natural disasters.
Similarly, the company is preparing to expand a new showroom in Bidur and surrounding areas after the floods completely damaged Kelmi’s showroom in Trishuli, Nuwakot.
On the occasion, a cloth bank will be opened in Rasuwa and Nuwakot within 15 days by incorporating new clothes worth Rs 1 to 15 million.
The new clothes will be made available to the residents of the disaster-affected areas of Rasuwa and Nuwakot. This relief material will not be distributed directly but will be distributed completely free of cost through the ‘Cloth Bank’ on the basis of the official list of affected persons or families prepared by the Government of Nepal. Neupane clarified that the listed details of the Government of Nepal would be used on the basis of the objective of providing assistance only to the real victims.
Kelmi Nepal, which has been continuously supporting the country in various natural disasters and difficult situations in the past, has continued this support keeping its social responsibility in priority.
