Meeting between Rastriya Swatantra Party President and Chinese Ambassador
Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RPP) President Rabi Lamichhane and Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Mao Ming held a meeting at the President’s residence in Budhanilnath this afternoon. During the meeting, Ambassador Ming expressed sorrow over the damage caused by the Bhotekoshi floods.
Stating that Nepal was with Nepal from search, rescue to reconstruction, he said China was ready to help Nepal in any way possible. He said that China has been providing all necessary support including rescue workers and DNA experts immediately after the disaster and it will continue until the need arises.
During the meeting, President Lamichhane thanked China for its support during the disaster. He said that China’s economic and technical support is important for disaster risk reduction and management in Nepal and urged for more cooperation in the coming days.
