Kathmandu. So far, 1,252 people have lost their lives due to the floods in the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa and the damage caused by it in different districts. According to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority, about 4,216 people are still out of contact.
According to the latest update, a large number of dead bodies and human organs have been recovered from different districts as per the latest update. Of them, 127 were recovered in Rasuwa, 177 in Nuwakot, 60 in Dhading, 69 in Gorkha, 38 in Tanahun, 218 in Nawalparasi East, 208 in Nawalparasi West and 355 in Chitwan. So far, 5
,135 people have been treated for the floods and disasters.
According to the NRA, 11,993 people have been rescued so far. The Nepal Army has rescued 4,091 Nepalis and 273 foreign nationals by air.
The Nepal Army has so far conducted 715 flights. Of them, 25 have been flown on Thursday alone.
