The National Day of Mourning is being observed today in honour of those who lost their lives in the devastating floods in the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa district on August 26. The national flag will be flown at half-mast at government offices across Nepal and Nepali embassies and missions abroad today. The national flag has also been flown at half-mast in the premises of various ministries in Singha Durbar today as a mark of respect and tribute to the people who lost their lives in the floods.
