Kathmandu. Nepal Agricultural Research Council (NARC) is conducting an ‘Apple Promotion Program’ related to the promotion, marketing and research of domestic apples.
Minister for Agriculture, Forest and Environment, Geeta Chaudhary, has inspected the activities being carried out at the NARC premises, Singha Durbar Plaza. During the inspection, Minister Chaudhary inquired about the efforts being made for production, promotion and marketing of domestic apples. She stressed on the need to make research and marketing effective to encourage farmers along with the promotion of domestic production. Various activities related to domestic apple production, research, technology and market promotion have been presented in the program.
