Demonstration in Janakpurdham by blocking the road against the Guthi Sansthan

Guthi Sansthan is working to remove the encroachments on the ponds and ponds under Rajguthi. Under this, one phase of the work of vacating the ponds and ponds has been done, while the last 19 Guthi Sansthan has issued a notice to vacate the encroached land in 14 places. Locals living around Labki Pokhari located in Janakpurdham Sub-Metropolitan City-14 have complained that the Guthi Sansthan has forcibly pasted a notice to vacate their land without any proof. They have been living in the place for 70-80 years and have protested against the notice issued to forcibly vacate them.
According to local Uday Yadav, when the survey of 2046 BS came, the evidence of the survey book was provided to them in the presence of the Survey Office, Land Revenue Office, Guthi Sansthan and local representatives. According to him, it is completely wrong to issue a notice to vacate the land in the name of each person by cutting out the plot. Yadav said that it is not fair for the Guthi Sansthan to issue a notice to vacate the land arbitrarily without asking for proof from them.
Yadav claimed that there is no basis for the Guthi Sansthan to show any evidence that the land belongs to Guthi. He said that the pond and the land around the pond were donated by a private person.

Baran Paswan, the former chairman of the same ward, said that in 2046 BS, when he was a representative, he and the officials of the concerned bodies sat on the land and gave it to the locals for enjoyment. He claimed that the land did not belong to the Guthi. He has accused the government of trying to extort the land without any evidence. Paswan claimed that it was illegal for the government to vacate the land as it does not belong to 35 and 36 units of Guthi Sansthan.
