Kathmandu. A book titled ‘Sapnako Ruins of Sapna’ written in memory of Radhika Shakya, wife of CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli, has been released.
Shakya launched the book at a function held at Oli’s house in Balakot on Wednesday. The book contains his experiences and pain related to the arson at his house in Balakot.
Speaking at the book launch event, Shakya claimed that she had no plans to burn her house and property on September 10, 2002. She also said that the intention was to remove Oli forever.
‘It may not have been the plan of the Kharani gang to burn our house and property. Basically, the first objective of the Kharani gang should be to remove KP sir forever. But we managed to survive,” she said.
“If we had been killed last year, we would be celebrating the anniversary of the anniversary of our death with Black Day,” she said.
Shakya complained that the mental torture on them on various pretexts has not stopped yet. She objected saying that they are trying to spread the illusion that they are criminals without any crime.
“We who live with the sacred feeling that we will serve this country as long as we have a drop of blood and a handful of breath have not stopped making many accusations and accusations,” she said.
She said that she wants to organize tens of thousands of books on various subjects in her possession and also set up a public library for the new generation. But with the arson of Balkot’s house, all those dreams have turned to ashes, she said.
He said, “I wanted to organize the tens of thousands of books we have on various subjects and leave a public library to the new generation. But today all my dreams have been shattered.” ’
