Kathmandu. Major highways and road sections in various states of the country have been completely blocked due to incessant rains, floods and landslides. Nepal Police has issued an updated report till 6:30 am today (Wednesday) and urged commuters to remain alert and use alternative routes.
KATHMANDU: One-way traffic has been resumed on the road section that was blocked due to a landslide at Chandragiri Municipality-2 in Dhading district. Vehicular movement has been banned on the Khurkot-Nepalthok-Katunjebesi section of the BP Highway. Vehicular movement will be allowed from 4 am to 6 pm only after assessing the situation. The Trishuli-Mailung-Syafrubesi road section has been completely obstructed due to floods at Khalte of Uttargaya rural municipality-5 in Rasuwa district. According to the police, the main highway has been completely blocked until further notice.
Night vehicular movement has been banned on the Tokha Chhahare road section of Shivapuri Rural Municipality-8. Vehicles have been banned from 10 pm to 5 am.
One-way operation of Prithvi Lokmarg Marg Ward No. 10 of Bonighat Rorang Rural Municipality. Similarly, one-way traffic has been opened on the 2 forty road section of Gajuri Rural Municipality.
