Ninth Nepal Real Estate and Construction Exhibition to be held in September

, Kathmandu. CG Properties’ 9th Nepal Real Estate and Construction Exhibition-2083 will be held at Bhrikutimandap in Kathmandu from September 15 to 4.

The exhibition is jointly organized by Nepal Land and Housing Development Association and Nepal Land and Housing Development Federation of Nepal in collaboration with Nepal Chamber of Commerce. The fair will be managed by Shia Event Associates Pvt. Ltd. According to the organizers, there will be more than

100 stalls from Nepal and India in the exhibition which has been organized continuously since 2009. According to the organizers, all the stalls have been booked.

The exhibition will showcase apartments, land development projects, cement, steel, wood, glass, paint, sanitary and electrical appliances, interior design, solar energy, rainwater harvesting and waste management technologies. According to the organizers, the exhibition will be made paperless using digital standees, electronic kiosks and virtual reality technology, prioritizing environment-friendly technology. Free consultations, blood donation programs and free health camps will be conducted by experts related to earthquake-resistant house construction and architecture. According to the organizers, free health treatment package will also be provided to the flood-affected people of Rasuwa in collaboration with Om Hospital and Grande International Hospital. The exhibition will feature panel discussions on climate change, disaster resilient infrastructure, restoration of safe settlements and public-private partnerships with the participation of policymakers, private sector, engineers and architects.

The youths who have started new enterprises with the objective of promoting young entrepreneurs will be selected and will also be provided free training and counseling.

The organizer said that the exhibition will be useful for consumers to get information about home choice, financial decisions and investments as liquidity in the banking sector is currently easy and interest rates are decreasing. More than 65,000 visitors are expected to attend the fair.

Meanwhile, the organizers said that relief materials including food, clothes, medicines and drone equipment have been sent to the flood-affected families of Rasuwa and has already contributed Rs 31 lakh to the Prime Minister Natural Disaster Relief Fund.
