Kathmandu. The Velpa-Hattiban Land Integration Project under the Kathmandu Valley Development Authority (KVDA) has given seven days to remove the structures constructed unauthorizedly.
According to the map and body sheet approved by the Project Management Sub-Committee on July 14, 2008, a notice has been issued to remove the physical structures within the boundary of the road as the 6-meter road between A, B and D blocks has to be sloped in the field. The project based in Velpa of Lalitpur Metropolitan City-15 has urged the landowners to remove the structures within seven days if other people have constructed such structures unauthorisedly. If the structures are not removed within the stipulated time, the project will remove such structures and take necessary action against the concerned person, the project said. Earlier, the structures built at 10 places under the project were removed.
