Kathmandu. Monviso Nepal Foundation has donated Rs 20 lakh to the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund for the relief, rescue and rehabilitation of the people affected by the floods of the Bhotekoshi River.
In a bid to provide support to the families affected by the floods in the Bhotekoshi River on August 23, the Foundation’s Chairman Chongba Lama Sherpa and Treasurer Lakpa Temba Sherpa met Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle and handed over a cheque for the donation. Member of the House of Representatives, Prakash Singh Karki, was also present in the cheque handover ceremony. The foundation is not only limited to financial assistance but is also preparing to donate food and clothes worth Rs 50 lakh to the flood victims. Similarly, the foundation has provided an additional Rs 10 lakh to the families of Solukhumbu who lost their family members in the Bhotekoshi floods.
