Kathmandu. Kajol Sundhauli has won the second week of the lucky draw from among the users of Nepalese ride-sharing and digital service platform Phiriri App. She received a mobile phone and bag as a gift in the lucky draw for taking bike service through Phiriri.
According to Kajol, she downloaded the app after her relatives informed her about the Phiriri app. She said that she has been using Phiriri’s service regularly for the last time after she came to know that she had her own ride-sharing app made by Nepali.
‘I downloaded it after a sister told me about Firiri. I heard that Nepalis have their own ride-sharing app. After that, I started using its service,” Kajol said, “I liked its service very much. It is not expensive either. After the Nepali app, I felt that I should use it more.” Now many other well-known companies are foreign. According to Kushal Khadka, managing director of Phiriri, about 10,000 riders have joined Phiriri within two months of its operation. He said that Phiriri is a Nepali digital platform built by Nepalis and there are plans to expand it across the country.
Khadka informed that Phiriri, which is currently serving the Kathmandu Valley, is preparing to expand its service to the major cities of the country soon. In addition to ride-sharing services, Phiriri also offers food delivery, hotel booking, marketplace and real estate-related services. The company aims to develop Phiriri as a multi-purpose digital platform as various digital services can be availed through a single app.
Phiriri has been selecting a winner every week through a lucky draw from the customers who use its various services and giving gifts. Earlier, in the first week’s lucky draw, Srijana Rajya Laxmi Rana was the winner.
According to the company, the objective of the weekly lucky draw is to encourage users to use the services and to strengthen the relationship with the customers.
