Drawing the attention of the government towards the impact of climate change, the demand for climate justice has been raised at the citizen’s level.
Nepal is facing many problems due to the impact of climate change, including the recent Bhotekoshi floods.
Locals of Biratnagar have demanded the government to ensure climate justice, saying that the most vulnerable communities are suffering from climate change. Civic activists have said that the climate crisis should not be limited to environmental issues but should be linked to human life, health, livelihood and social justice.
