Two killed, nine injured in a jeep accident at Sanibheri in Surkhet Two people died and nine others were injured in a jeep accident at Sanibheri Rural Municipality-6 in Rukum (West) on Sunday morning.

1 Cha 6029) was heading towards Khalanga from Kotgaun via Sanibheri-9, the rural municipality centre, according to the District Police Office, Rukum (West) on Sunday.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Bed Bahadur Poudel said that two persons died in the accident.
The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained. Four people were seriously injured while five others were in moderate condition, police said.
According to Pahal Singh Gharti, ward chairman of Sanibheri Municipality-6, one of the deceased is a jeep driver and another is a woman. They died on the spot. He said that 11 people were travelling in the jeep and nine including the jeep’s owner Bal Bahadur Pun were injured. A team of local police has reached the incident site while another team led by District Police Chief Poudel has headed towards the incident site, police said.
