Bhotekoshi floods: 1,386 bodies found
Kathmandu. As of 8 am on Sunday, 1,386 bodies have been recovered due to the devastating floods in Bhotekoshi of Rasuwa.

1,386 people were recovered in Rasuwa, 199 in Nuwakot, 71 in Dhading, 364 in Chitwan, 77 in Gorkha, 38 in Tanahun, 230 in Nawalparasi East and 222 in Nawalparasi West.
So far, 1,230 bodies have been managed (preserved under the soil) after completing the necessary procedures for the identification of the bodies found. A total of 3,132 DNA samples, including 1,286 of the deceased and 1,846 of the relatives, have been collected for the identification of the bodies. The details of 1,354 unidentified bodies have also been uploaded on the Nepal Police website. So far, 7
,975 police personnel have been deployed in the flood-affected areas for rescue, search, relief distribution, dead body management and other works. Search for 4,089 missing people is underway so far.
Similarly, 2,712 people have been kept in holding centers in various districts.
