Kathmandu. Additional Inspector General of Police Sushil Singh Rathore said that they have been mobilized with the same objective to make Kathmandu safe, fear-free and systematic.
Speaking on the occasion of the 34th anniversary of the Metropolitan Police Force (MPF), IGP Rathore said the common objective of the general public and security personnel was to make Kathmandu safe, fear-free and systematic. “The general public and all security personnel have been mobilized with the same objective of how to make Kathmandu safe and fear-free and well-managed,” he said.
Appreciating the efforts of the Metropolitan Police Force to make the metropolis safe and well-managed, he said he would highly appreciate the performance of the police.
Rathore stressed that the security personnel should have clear information about their duties, legal rights and responsibilities provided by the state. He said that duty and responsibility should also be given importance while exercising the rights given by the law. He said that the security personnel should move forward with discipline, integrity and morality towards their profession.
