Chilime Update: Search and rescue operation intensifies in the tunnel
Kathmandu. The search and rescue operation of workers and technicians trapped in the tunnel area of Chilime Hydropower Project in Rasuwa continues continuously.
The rescue team is moving ahead clearing the thick mud, boulders and debris piled up at the entrance and inner part of the tunnel following the floods. Nepal Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and local technical teams have been jointly mobilized to make the rescue operation effective. According to the security agencies involved in the rescue operation, the rescue team is working day and night.
