The members of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RPP) will contribute Rs 15,000 each to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund
. The members of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) parliamentary party will contribute a minimum of Rs 15,000 each to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund.
According to Chief Whip of the Rastriya Samajwadi Party (RPP) Kabindra Burlakoti, the proposal to contribute Rs 15,
000 each has been forwarded by the party members following an informal discussion among the office-bearers of the party.
The RSP has already decided to contribute Rs 50 lakh to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund on behalf of the party. Burlakoti said that the amount has also included a monthly levy to be deducted from the members of the parliamentary party to the party.
Apart from this, the members of the parliamentary party have also announced that they will contribute money to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund on a personal basis. If the members contribute a minimum of Rs 15,000, about Rs 27,15,000 will be deposited.
Chief Whip Burlakoti said that the contribution is being implemented by including the amount to be collected from the members above Rs 15,
000.
