Kathmandu. Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Chang Maoming has arrived in Mustang via the Corolla border point. Chief District Officer of the District Administration Office, Mustang, Ajita Sharma, said that Chinese Ambassador Chang Maoming has arrived in Mustang.
According to Chief District Officer Sharma, Ambassador Chang arrived in Mustang after 12 noon on Saturday. According to him, the detailed purpose of the ambassador’s visit has not been received yet. Talking to Nepal News Bank, she said, “Chinese Ambassador Zhang Maoming arrived in Mustang after 12 noon. The detailed purpose of his visit is yet to be ascertained.
“
Ambassador Chang is scheduled to meet the district administration and district officials in Mustang, Sharma said. However, he said that the meeting may be affected depending on the condition of the road and the traffic situation.
Ambassador Chang is currently in Lomanthang. Further details about the meetings and other events during his visit to Mustang are awaited.
However, Chief District Officer Sharma said that there is no clear information about the main purpose of the ambassador’s visit.
