Nepali Congress (NC) general convention should become a place of self-reflection and renaissance: Pushpa Bhusal
Kathmandu. Nepali Congress (NC) Vice-President Pushpa Bhusal has said that the party’s 15th general convention should be taken as an opportunity for self-reflection, self-determination and renaissance and not just as a place to manage the posts.
Addressing the inaugural session of the 15th general convention of the Nepali Congress on Sunday, Bhusal said that the general convention was an important forum for contemplation and dialogue about the present and future of the party.
She said, “This convention is not a gathering, we are going to hold this convention as a place to discuss the present and future of the Nepali Congress, which has made history by fighting for democracy since 07 years.” Bhusal said that the general convention is not only for the management of posts and that it should be developed as a place for introspection by all those who believe in democratic ideology.
“This general convention should become a forum for self-reflection not only by the leaders and cadres of the Nepali Congress, but also by all those who believe in democratic ideology and Nepali Congress,” she said.
Stressing that the general convention should be taken as an opportunity for self-improvement, self-determination, renaissance and reconstruction, she said the historical opportunity should not be missed.
She said, “This convention should be used as an opportunity for all of us to take this convention as an opportunity for self-improvement, as self-determination, as a renaissance, as a reconstruction, not as a historical opportunity, but as an opportunity.”
