Traffic police take action against 701 people in 24 hours
Kathmandu. In the last 24 hours, the traffic police have taken action against 701 drivers of vehicles.
In course of the checks conducted by the Traffic Police in different parts of the Kathmandu Valley till Monday morning, action was taken against 78 drivers for drunken driving, 35 drivers through CCTV and 29 for using red beacons.
Similarly, 114 drivers were penalized for speeding, 14 for not wearing horns, six for lane crossing, 24 for not being in good condition, 11 for one-way traffic and 390 for others.
