Two workers died after a mound of mud fell while digging a road in Baglung
Baglung. Two laborers have died after a mud mound fell while upgrading a road in Nisikhola Rural Municipality-3 of Baglung. One person has been seriously injured.
At around 7:20 this morning, a JCB (Lu 1 Ka 3446) was digging the road on the inner road from Jhiwakhola to Bohoragaun.
The deceased have been identified as Lal Bahadur Budhathoki, 32, of Salyan and Raju Thapa Magar, 32, of Gaighat, Udayapur. They were rescued from the mound and found dead. Krishna Bahadur Gharti, 25, of Triveni Rural Municipality-5 of Rolpa was seriously injured in the incident. He was immediately rescued and sent to Burtibang Hospital for treatment. Further details of the incident are awaited, police said.
