I want to be the mio of party unity by winning the NC General Secretary: Dr. Dila Sangraula
Kathmandu. Dr. Dila Sangraula (Pant), a central member of the Nepali Congress, has claimed that she will contest for the post of General Secretary and will win. She made this claim while announcing her candidacy for the post of General Secretary.
She claimed that she was eligible for the post of general secretary after the central committee meeting decided to add a woman general secretary in the context of the ongoing 15th general convention of the Nepali Congress.
In the 14th General Convention, former President Sher Bahadur Deuba became the joint general secretary from the panel.
“I am constantly interviewing my friends of the Congress from Mechi to Mahakali in Nepal. I have raised the issues of youth, women and marginalized communities many times. I believe that the cadres will trust me as I have always been in favor of change as I have been working since student politics,” she said.
She also expressed her commitment to transform the party and stand as a link to connect the party from the bottom to the top.
She also pledged to make the Nepali Congress a factional-free party.
Stating that she has been raising the voice of the people through the parliament, street and pen, she claimed that she would create history by becoming a strong mio of party unity.
“I left the teaching profession and joined the politics of the Congress. I am working to connect people with all professions and professions with the party. Therefore, I am a strong candidate for the post of general secretary,” she said.
