Various highways affected due to floods and landslides
Kathmandu. Various major highways and road sections across the country have been affected due to floods and landslides.
According to the details made public by Nepal Police, the road has been completely obstructed due to landslides at several places and only one-way traffic has come into operation.
The main highways have been completely blocked since 10:30 am on August 24 due to the Rasuwa floods. According to the police, the road sections will remain closed until further notice.
Raghuganga Rural Municipality Ward No. 2, Beisari’s Beni-Jomsom road section has been completely blocked due to landslides.
Baudikali Rural Municipality Ward No. 3 of Kaligandaki Corridor. 3. The road has been opened one-way after a landslide occurred in Janti Landslide.
