Building a society oriented towards peace and prosperity!
Advocate Chiranjeevi Nepal
After the arrival of Advocate Chiranjeevi Nepal, the period of self-destruction is a strange state of man.
The intellect is spoiled, the intellect is diminished, the opposition is intense.
This line was composed before the Mahabharata war, that is, at the time when war was inevitable. Looking at our social situation today, it seems that we are also heading towards conflict. This is clear when we look at the non-social networks called social.
Nepali society is a society living together peacefully. As a common home of the various religions, ethnicities and languages of the mountains, hills and Terai, the previous harmony, brotherhood and love for each other have been lost for some time. Moreover, the competition to stoke the fire of hatred towards each other has increased.
Things like humiliating each other on the basis of religion and ethnicity, attacking the other’s faith, calling themselves the natives and others as refugees, etc. have become clear in the network. Such activities are really toxic for a healthy and clean society. Such actions will only divide the society and increase hatred. Therefore, if such evil tendencies are left unattended and not stopped, then social conflict is inevitable.
Now disputes are also being raised about temples, idols and national flags, which is not a good sign. If the country is to be saved and the Nepali people are happy and happy, then the promiscuity should not be allowed to flourish under the guise of democracy and human rights. In this regard, strict laws should be formulated and effective implementation of the law should be emphasized. Whoever commits such acts must be brought to justice and the culprits must be punished.
The government should also be serious about this. The things expressed on social media should unite and not divide the society. But the irony is that the people in high positions are the ones who are not contributing to the building of this country and are left to spy all over the country.
Due to excessive use of social media and personal interests, nowadays people are losing patience, losing their conscience, and eroding human values and values. Anger, anger, hatred and animosity towards each other have increased. The result of anger towards each other is ashes, one does not think that anyone will win. In such a situation, there is no doubt that the victory will be for the dancer.
It has not yet deteriorated, there is no need to be disappointed. But there should be no delay in taking positive steps with caution. Big changes always start with small efforts and from one’s own house and courtyard and oneself. If the citizens are aware, then such a society cannot be defeated by the pots, and for that the citizens themselves should be honest. If the society is to be oriented back towards brotherhood, peace and the right direction, then it is appropriate to take the following steps.
1. Let’s start positive actions with ourselves: Controlling anger and impulsiveness, it is difficult to change others, but if we can control our behavior ourselves, then we can become an example for others. When we get angry, we make a habit of being patient for some time without reacting immediately. Speak sweet and polite, if you bring sweetness in speech and humility in behavior, half of the problems will be solved.
2. Starting Sanskar from Family and Home: Give moral education to children, make children understand the importance of respecting others, having a cooperative spirit and brotherhood from an early age. It is good to sit among the family members for some time every day and create an environment to share the feelings of the heart and increase harmony.
3. Social Unity and Dialogue: Positive interaction in the society, discussing and cooperating with each other, sitting together and finding a solution to the problem in a peaceful way instead of abusing or arguing in the neighborhood, then the dispute will be reduced. People of all ages and communities should participate together in the cleanliness of the village, religious÷cultural festival, or social service work, which will increase unity and brotherhood and make the society a beautiful garden.
4. Balanced use of social media: Avoid false rumors and negativity, do not share misleading, hateful or provocative news seen on the internet and social networks, make good use of it. Let us make the network a medium to connect the society, not to break it.
5. Develop spiritual and moral awareness: By increasing service and equanimity, let us inculcate the eternal values and values like ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ (The world is one family) and ‘Paropaya Punyaya, Papaya Parapidanam’ in life. Regularly perform bhajans, kirtans, meditations, or satsangs according to our religion, culture, and customs, which inspires us to cultivate peace of mind and compassion towards others.
6. To guide the young generation on a positive path: To involve the youth in sports, literature, social service and skill-oriented activities to protect them from various types of addictions or unnecessary disputes. To not give them a chance to get involved in quarrels and undesirable activities as much as possible, etc.
If we can do this work, we can hope that the anti-social activities in the society will automatically be reduced. The easier it is to destroy and destroy, the more difficult it is to rebuild. Therefore, we should be focused on preventing deterioration and breakdown. If each of us takes a pledge that ‘I am a responsible citizen of the society and we should start a positive change from me’, then our lost brotherhood and affection will come back. For this, determination and self-confidence are necessary. If we look at the world from the point of view of friendship, then friendship will naturally increase. In the end, this mantra of the Vedas is very relevant for our present society, which is as follows.
Om, may he protect us both, may he nourish us both, may we exercise vigor together, may we not be radiant, may we not be studied, may we not hate him. Om Shanti, Shanti, Shanti.
