I have faced injustice, I have become a candidate for justice: Bikash Koirala

Kathmandu. Bikash Koirala, who is contesting for the post of joint general secretary in the 15th general convention of the Nepali Congress at Khula Manch, has said that he has been competing and collaborating at various levels of the party from student politics.

He said that he has become the candidate for the participation of the younger generation and strengthening the organization by leaving behind the past differences and shortcomings.

Speaking during the campaign campaign on Wednesday, Koirala said that he had to face injustice within the party for a long time. He said that he had to spend his life in jail and that he had suffered a lot from the past incidents.

“In six years of tenure, I stayed in jail for 12-12 years where I should have been punished within six years,” he said, “For 12-12 years, I was confined, I stayed inside the cage. I am trying to fly in front of you from inside the cage, I am trying to add wings.” “

He also said that the students and party workers who could not support him in the past or who disagreed with him should also do justice to him this time. According to him, his candidacy is aimed at strengthening the organization, connecting and protecting the cadres.

He also said that he had held discussions and consultations with Gagan Thapa, the candidate for the post of Congress president. He said that although there was a competition with Thapa in the past, he would accept his leadership now and move forward.

He said that although he would raise voice about differences in the issue of justice in the future in the party, it was necessary to move ahead by collaborating now. Claiming that an environment of unity has been created among the leaders in Chitwan, he said that all would work together to build the organization after the general convention.

“We believe that we will go to Chitwan in a united manner to build the organization of Chitwan,” he said.

He said that the injustice he faced in the past was one of the reasons for the weakening of the political situation of the Nepali Congress in Chitwan.

Stating that the time has come to correct the past shortcomings, he said that if the problems seen in the organization could be corrected from Chitwan, it would have a positive impact across the country.
