Kathmandu. Former President Bidya Devi Bhandari has been sworn in as the senior vice-president of the CPN-UML.

Sharma Oli administered the oath of office and secrecy to Bhandari amidst a function held at the party office in Chyasal on Thursday.
The CPN-UML Central Committee meeting held from September 23 to September 2
4 had nominated him to the post of senior leader.
The standing committee meeting has formally begun after Bhandari took oath as the senior leader of the party.
