Former President Bidya Devi Bhandari has taken the oath of office and secrecy as the senior vice-chairperson of the CPN-UML.

Sharma Oli administered the oath of office and secrecy to Bhandari amidst a function held at the party office in Chyasal on Thursday.
The CPN-UML central committee meeting held from September 19 to September 2
4 had nominated him to the post of senior leader.
The standing committee meeting has formally begun after Bhandari took oath as the senior leader of the party.
