Kathmandu. Nepal Police has said that helicopters have been mobilized to rescue the flood-affected areas of Gorkha and to relocate the people at risk to safer places.
Nepal Police has urged the general public to stay away from flood-prone areas, stay in safe places and follow the information and safety signs issued by the police. In case of flood-related emergency or rescue assistance, the district emergency operation center, ambulance and the District Police Office, Gorkha can be contacted. Nepal Police has urged the people living in flood-affected and vulnerable areas to remain alert and follow safety directives.
