Congress General Convention: News of missing ballot box in Madhes Province Misleading: Election Committee
Kathmandu. The Election Committee has said that the news of missing ballot boxes in Madhes Province during the 15th General Convention of the Nepali Congress is misleading.
The Election Committee has said that its serious attention has been drawn to the news that the ballot boxes of Madhes Province have gone missing after the news was published in the media. Prem
Bahadur Khadka, coordinator of the election committee, clarified that the name of the province was not mentioned in the ballot box but it was identified by putting the number instead.
According to Khadka, the ballot boxes used in the election have been classified according to the cluster number and not on the basis of the name of the province. He said that the names of Madhes Province, Koshi Province or any other province have not been written in the ballot box, but the numbers 1, 2, 3 etc. have been mentioned.
“The ballot boxes are counted according to the cluster. We have named the ballot boxes as 1, 2 and 3,” Khadka said. We have numbered all the ballot boxes. ’
