JCV driver dies after being buried in landslide, co-driver with minor injuries
Mugu. The JCV driver, who was seriously injured in the landslide on Monday morning, died while undergoing treatment.
After the landslide occurred at 9:40 am on Monday, the work was started with the help of JCB. The driver was rescued with the help of JCB and reached the police station at 10:30 am.
His condition was critically critical when he was taken to the Primary Health Center at Ratapani in a truck (01004 Ka 6483).
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Rabiraj Thapaliya of District Police Office, Mugu, the driver was pronounced dead on arrival at the primary health centre at 12.10 pm.
The injured helper was sent to Chandanath Polyclinic in Majhchaur of Khatyad Rural Municipality-5 for treatment. His condition is normal and he is being treated at the polyclinic.
The JCB used to clear the landslide on the road is still at the spot.
